Eldora Speedway hosted a jam-packed week of sprint car action leading up to and including the 43rd Kings Royal.

Wednesday kicked off with the Double Down Duel$, splitting the field into two groups. In Group A, Brent Marks led wire-to-wire for his sixth career Eldora win, with Tyler Courtney and Kyle Larson completing the podium. Group B saw eight lead changes among three drivers, with Corey Day charging from sixth to first late in the race to beat Giovanni Scelzi for his second career Eldora win.

Thursday's Joker's Jackpot brought Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing to national TV on FS1, with $100,000 on the line. Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and Corey Day started on the front row, but Rico Abreu jumped both to lead early. Day's night ended when he hit the turn four wall while battling Larson for second. Larson eventually reclaimed the lead from Abreu after a series of slide jobs and cruised to victory by 1.48 seconds, earning his second-straight $100,000 Joker's Jackpot win and sixth six-figure career payday — second only to Donny Schatz's 13. Abreu finished second, still chasing his first Eldora crown jewel. Logan Schuchart rounded out the podium.

Friday's Knight Before the Kings Royal marked Corey Day's 2026 World of Outlaws season debut, and he made it count. Despite racing Sprint Cars only part-time now while driving for Hendrick Motorsports in NASCAR, Day survived a chaotic 30-lap race, holding off Aaron Reutzel to win $25,000. It was his fourth Sprint Car win of the year and second at Eldora that week. Garet Williamson took third.

Saturday's Kings Royal finale delivered a historic result: Anthony Macri won his second consecutive title, becoming just the second driver ever (after Donny Schatz) to repeat as Kings Royal champion, and the first from Pennsylvania to do so. Garet Williamson led much of the race after passing Macri, and Rico Abreu also took the lead briefly, but Macri surged back ahead with two laps remaining and held on through a green-white-checkered finish. The win continued Macri's comeback from a back injury, giving him five wins since returning and eight total in 2026. Abreu finished second again, extending his streak of near-misses at Eldora's crown jewels, while Giovanni Scelzi grabbed his best-ever Kings Royal finish in third. Day was fourth, and Williamson faded to fifth after leading the most laps.
