We are a factory-direct manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality motorsports gear. As a result, our operations differ from large-scale retail warehouses. Please read this page thoroughly before making a purchase.

Creating an account is required to shop on our website. Your account allows faster checkout, access to order history, tracking, and saved billing/shipping addresses.
3. Billing & Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Please ensure your billing address matches the card issuer's records to avoid processing delays. Sales tax is calculated based on destination and applicable state laws.
4. Shipping Policy
4.1 Processing Times
We strive to process orders promptly but are not a next-day fulfillment center. Due to high order volumes, and staffing limitation, order processing may take 1 to 3 business days or longer. Orders placed after 10AM PT, on weekends, or on holidays, generally begin processing the next business day, however it is not always guaranteed.
If your order is time-sensitive or must arrive by a specific date, please call Customer Service at (760) 268-0710 prior to ordering.
4.2 Carrier Transit Times
Selected shipping methods (e.g., UPS 2-Day, USPS Priority Mail) reflect carrier transit times only and begin after your order ships.
USPS Priority Mail is not an expedited service. It typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on location.
Expedited services like UPS Next Day or 2nd Day Air must be selected and paid for at checkout. While we prioritize expedited shipments, we do not guarantee same-day shipment.
We recommend referencing UPS and USPS regional maps to understand your true shipping window. For estimated transit times, visit:
We ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, Canada, and select international destinations. International customers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, VAT, and import fees.
Please note that orders shipped to international destinations or non-contiguous U.S. locations (such as Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, and APO/FPO addresses) may require air freight only due to service limitations, geographic constraints, or carrier routing. This often results in higher shipping costs, extended transit times, and more complex logistics. These conditions are dictated by the carrier and are outside of our control. Delays caused by customs clearance, international regulations, APO/FPO routing, or remote access limitations are also not the responsibility of K1 RaceGear.
5. Backorders and Inventory
Our website reflects real-time inventory; however, overselling can occur due to simultaneous transactions or delays in warehouse reconciliation. If your item becomes unavailable:
6.1 Inventory Item Returns
Returns are accepted on standard stocking products (not custom) within 30 days of shipment for unused, unwashed, and unaltered items, with original tags and in original packaging.
Returns with wear, odors such as smoke, pet hair, or missing packaging may be denied or subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
K1 RaceGear will cover UPS Ground or USPS Priority shipping for one-time exchanges within the continental U.S.

Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once production begins. This includes, and is not limited to:

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective:
Damaged-in-transit claims must be initiated immediately with the carrier. Photographs and evidence of damage are required. Damage claims reported after 48 hours may not be honored.
8. Product Care Policy
Proper care of your suit is essential to preserve fire resistance, appearance, and fit:
Washing Guidelines:
Karting suits are abrasion-resistant, not flame-retardant.
Automotive suits are flame-retardant, not abrasion resistant.
Do not use suits outside their intended purpose. Verify compliance with your sanctioning body’s regulations.
10. Order Cancellations & Changes
Standard items may be canceled without fee before they ship.
Custom items cannot be canceled once in production. Deposits are non-refundable.
Changes to custom items during production may incur rework charges (quoted on request).
Orders already shipped cannot be canceled. Please refer to our return policy if applicable.
11. Website Agreement
By purchasing from this website, you agree to K1 RaceGear’s Terms and Conditions, including all shipping, return, cancellation, and care policies outlined herein. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to read and understand these terms before completing your purchase. Motorsport is inherently dangerous. While K1 RaceGear products are designed and tested to meet or exceed industry safety standards, no product can guarantee protection from all risks. Use of our products is voluntary and at the user's own risk.
By using any K1 RaceGear product, the customer acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks of motorsport activities and agrees that K1 RaceGear shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from their use. Proper care, use, and maintenance of safety gear is the sole responsibility of the customer.

7. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective:

- Include your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging.
- Retain all packaging materials for inspection.

8. Product Care Policy
Proper care of your suit is essential to preserve fire resistance, appearance, and fit:
Washing Guidelines:
- Wash alone, inside-out, on cold/delicate cycle.
- Use neutral pH detergent only.
- Secure all zippers and hook and loop fasteners to prevent fabric and embroidery damage.
- Do not use bleach, softeners, or optical brighteners.
- Tumble dry on low for a few minutes, then hang dry fully.
- Wash with other garments (color transfer risk).
- Use high heat or dry-cleaning solvents.
- Expose to prolonged sunlight or UV (causes fading and yellowing).
- Suits shrunk due to improper laundering or drying
- Damage from unsecured hook and loop fasteners abrading embroidery or stretch gussets
- Yellowing from hard water, sweat oxidation, or UV
Karting suits are abrasion-resistant, not flame-retardant.
Automotive suits are flame-retardant, not abrasion resistant.
Do not use suits outside their intended purpose. Verify compliance with your sanctioning body’s regulations.
