Allgaier Wins Focused Health 250 at EchoPark

Justin Allgaier, NASCAR's O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (Xfinity) points leader, won the Focused Health 250 at EchoPark Speedway after a chaotic nearly four-hour race that went to double overtime. It was his sixth win of the season and clinched the 2026 regular-season championship for him.

The finish came down to the wire: after the white flag, leader Brennan Poole and defending race winner Nick Sanchez crashed into each other and the wall during a frantic final push. Allgaier slipped underneath them in his No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet and held off teammate Carson Kvapil — who was chasing his first career win — by just 0.139 seconds. The result also put JR Motorsports one top-10 finish away from tying Roush Fenway Keselowski's record of 79 consecutive races with a team car in the top 10.

The race was defined by chaos: a track-record 13 caution flags, four red flags, 11 different leaders, and 19 lead changes, with nine changes in the final 70 laps alone. A massive 11-car wreck with 11 laps left took out several contenders, including race-leading JRM driver Sammy Smith and defending series champion Jesse Love. A later seven-car crash eliminated more contenders, including JRM's Rajah Caruth.

Parker Retzlaff, Anthony Alfredo, and William Sawalich rounded out the top five, with Garrett Smithley, Brandon Jones, Kyle Sieg, Caruth, and Jeremy Clements completing the top 10.

Allgaier now leads Love by 240 points with three races left before the 12-driver playoff field is set. The series takes an off week before racing resumes July 25 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
