Justin Allgaier won the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway, claiming his fourth career victory at the track, second of the 2026 season, and 30th overall — tying Joey Logano for seventh on the all-time NASCAR Xfinity Series win list.
Allgaier's win came down to strong pit stops and smart restarts. After Kyle Larson — who dominated the race by leading the first 94 laps — was buried in fifth following a slow final pit stop, Allgaier seized the lead from Brandon Jones on the last restart with 15 laps remaining, winning by 0.578 seconds. Larson recovered to finish fourth.
The victory marks four consecutive wins for JR Motorsports Chevrolets. Allgaier, 39, credited his pit crew and acknowledged it wasn't his cleanest personal performance at the track, but savored the result nonetheless.
Jones felt he had the stronger long-run car but couldn't match Allgaier's launch off the final restart. Corey Day finished sixth for his fifth straight top 10 as a rookie.
In the standings, Allgaier now leads by 52 points over Jesse Love, who spun on pit road but salvaged an 11th-place finish. The series heads to Martinsville Speedway next Saturday.
